Mandevilla Diamantina Opale Citrine ('Lancalifornia')- flori parfumate
Mandevilla Diamantina Opale Citrine (also known as the cultivar 'Lancalifornia' ) is a decorative variety of Mandevilla, belonging to the Apocynaceae family. It is an ornamental hybrid selected for its abundant flowers and intense color, part of the commercial Diamantina® range, developed for long flowering and vigorous growth.
Growing conditions:
• Light: Requires direct sun or at least half a day of bright light. Flowering is best in full sun.
• Temperature: heat-loving; grows best between 18–30°C . Does not tolerate temperatures below 10°C. In areas with cold winters, it is grown as a potted plant and moved indoors during the cold season.
• Soil: well-drained, rich in organic matter, slightly acidic to neutral. Peat and perlite-based mixtures or mature compost are recommended.
• Watering: regular, more frequent in the hot season, but be careful not to create excess water. Allow the top layer of the substrate to dry slightly between waterings.
• Fertilization: it is recommended to apply a fertilizer for flowering plants once every 1–2 weeks, throughout the flowering season.
Height with pot included: approx. 50 cm
Other information:
• For continuous flowering, it is recommended to remove wilted flowers and cut them lightly after each flowering wave.
• The 'Lancalifornia' cultivar is recognized for its increased disease resistance and prolonged flowering capacity compared to other classic Mandevilla varieties.
Note: This variety is thermosensitive - it may arrive to you without flowers and may lose leaves after purchase or during transport. The plant will stabilize over time and resume growth.
