Care :
Light: This plant loves light! A position where it receives direct sunlight for a few hours a day is ideal. However, during the summer, protect it from the scorching midday sun to avoid burns.
Water: Like any cactus, Mammillaria carmenae 'Rubrispinus' does not require a lot of water. Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. During the period of active growth (spring-summer), water the plant once a week or as needed, based on soil moisture. In winter, reduce watering to prevent root rot.
Temperature and humidity: Prefers moderate to warm temperatures during the growing season and cooler in winter, but not below 10°C. It is not picky about humidity, but too dry or too humid air can be harmful.
Soil: Use a well-drained soil mix specific to cacti or succulents.
