Magnolia Susan appeared as a result of crossing Rosea with the Magnolia Nigra varieties, being a hybrid with a flowering time delayed towards the end of spring, thus reducing the risk of bud loss due to cold days in April-May.
Placement: sunny spots, rich and well-drained soil
Characteristics: The flowers are large, fragrant, dark purple in color, and appear before the leaves.
It can grow up to 2-4 meters in height.
