Magnolia Michelia 'White Caviar' - fragrant flowers

Magnolia Michelia 'White Caviar' - Magnolia, section Michelia. This is a hybrid between two of the most popular, attractive and resistant varieties of Michelia - yunnansensis (syn. laevifolia) and figo. It is a very popular ornamental plant, medium-sized, evergreen, with a narrow shape and a dense growth habit, being perfect for screens and hedges. It produces medium-sized, fragrant, creamy white flowers at the end of spring / the beginning of summer.

Michelia magnolias are not like any other magnolia - they are compact, bushy, evergreen. In the spring they are covered by a real "blanket" of fragrant flowers. The flower buds open at almost every leaf axil, and the flowers are strongly scented, with a size of approx. 6 cm. They bloom early, from the beginning to the end of spring, and sometimes sporadic flowers appear throughout the year.
