Lonicera kamtschatica morena, commonly known as Siberian blueberry or honey berries. The white flowers appear in May, followed by long, green fruits that turn blue when ripe, similar to blueberries, with a sweet and sour, fragrant taste reminiscent of honey.
The fruits of lonicera are very rich in vitamin C and antioxidants – about five times richer than blueberries. The Siberian blueberry can grow in any garden, in full sun or partial shade, and withstands temperatures down to -25 degrees Celsius.
