Limequat limonella 'Lara' (lime x kumquat) * with edible fruits
Limequat or "Limonella" is the result of crossing a lime and a kumquat. The fruits have a sweet taste, a sweet-bitter pulp, and can be eaten whole.
With a strongly acidic juice, which contains considerable amounts of vitamin C, Lara fruits have become a popular ingredient in food and drink recipes.
**The fruits are edible!!!**
Note: All citrus fruits we sell are edible as a species (meaning they produce fruits that can be eaten), with the mention that some producers (such as Citrina) apply for additional cultivation certifications for consumption as “edible fruits”.
Note: There is a possibility that ripe fruits may fall off during transport. The fruits may be at various stages of development, depending on the season.
