Kiwi - Actinidia arguta 'Weiki' (mascul polenizator)
Kiwi - Actinidia Arguta 'Weiki' is a variety that withstands temperatures as low as -25 degrees Celsius.
Actinidia arguta 'Weiki' should be planted together with Actinidia arguta 'Issai' for superior pollination. Pollination between these two varieties partially changes the appearance of the fruits and significantly improves the harvest.
Cultivation recommendations: It is grown on trellises/arches/fences, like a grapevine. We recommend choosing a wind-sheltered area, preferably near a wall or fence with southern exposure. Kiwi 'Weiki' appreciates warmth and direct sunlight. The first pruning can be done two years after planting, at the end of winter or immediately after harvest.
It does not require special soil (but prefers slightly acidic soil) and is resistant to diseases and pests, being naturally considered "pest free".
Height including pot: approx. 40 cm. Varies depending on the season.
Pot size: 12-15 cm or 2 liters
Note: during the cold season, the plants are in dormancy, pruned back, and sold without leaves.
