Jatropha podagrica (Buddha belly)

Jatropha podagrica is native to the tropical areas of America and belongs to the Euphorbiaccae family.
Location: in a bright area, away from direct sunlight.
Watering: it is a tropical plant that loves water. Give it water little by little, so that the soil stays moist.
The leaves at the base may turn yellow, they must be removed.

The size and presence of the leaves varies according to the season.

Note: Jatropha is sold with or without flowers. In the cold season, it is possible that the plants do not have leaves and are easily dehydrated. The shape of the caudex can be different from one specimen to another.
