Hoya pubicalyx 'Black Dragon' (Hoya pubicorolla ssp. Anthracina)

Hoya pubicalyx 'Black Dragon' (Hoya pubicorolla ssp. Anthracina) - one of the most appreciated hoya species, due to its spectacular, dark, strongly scented flowers but also for its vigorous growth. It was considered in turn a hybrid, a subspecies of H. pubicalyx, and finally was republished under the name Hoya pubicorolla ssp. Anthracina.
Unlike pubicalyx, the leaves are completely green.
It was collected by George Mendoza, in the Luzon islands of the Philippines.
