Hoya merrillii - endemic species from the Philippines, named after the botanist who discovered it, ED Merrill.
The leaves show visible venation and tend to turn red when the plant is grown in strong light.
The flowers are in shades of white-cream-pink, strongly scented, with a pleasant sweet scent and a lifespan of 5-7 days. Flowering is frequent and abundant.
Specimens from stock may also have sunken or defective leaves.
