Full description and specifications

Hoya burtoniae - species native to the Philippines. The plant is relatively compact, with hanging vines. The flowers are pomegranate-red, and have a strong honey scent.
The leaves become reddish or even completely green when the plant is grown in strong light or direct sun.
There are numerous controversies regarding the real identity of the plants in the Acanthostemma section - this plant has been marketed over time as Hoya sp. DS-70, Hoya sp. aff. burtoniae, Hoya bilobata (incorrect), Hoya tsangii (incorrect). From our analyzes and generally available knowledge, this is Hoya burtoniae - unlike Hoya sp. aff. burtoniae, the leaves are much smaller, arched, thinner and more oval, with a different, less prominent venation.
Hoya burtoniae is part of the section Acanthostemma.

Fragrant flowers: YES

The length of the lianas varies from one specimen to another. Long vines can break/damage during transport.
