Homalomena ‘Camouflage’ – frunzis spectaculos in nuante marmorate
Homalomena rubescens, native to Southeast Asia, comes from the same family as the Philodendron. This plant is attractive due to its red stems and heart-shaped leaves.
Common names: Queen of Hearts, Red Shield Plant, Shield Plant
Placement: in a partly shaded area, protected from direct sunlight.
Watering: keep the soil slightly moist. During the growing period from March to August, water a bit more than in winter. If you water the plant too much, it will signal by dropping droplets from its leaves.
Temperature: 16 - 25 degrees Celsius
Soil: well-drained
