Expanded clay hydrogranules (also known as LECA – Lightweight Expanded Clay Aggregate, or simply clay balls) are a natural, porous, and inert material, ideal for hydroponic cultures, mixed substrates, or drainage layers in pots.

Placing a layer of hydrogranules at the base of the pot, before the main substrate, ensures efficient drainage and prevents root problems caused by water stagnation.

Also, clay balls can be used in decorative arrangements, at the base of glass containers, or for stabilizing hydroponic plants, providing a clean and modern look.

Granulation: medium (8–16 mm), suitable for most indoor plants and for universal use in substrates.
