It is a decorative and easy-care variety, belonging to the Moraceae family, being related to the well-known Ficus benjamina, but with a distinct and more compact appearance.

Full name: Ficus triangularis 'Variegata'
Family: Moraceae
Plant type: decorative foliage, indoor
Foliage: glossy, green with creamy yellow edges, thick and triangular leaves
Growth: relatively slow, with vertical growth and natural branching
Light: Prefers indirect, but very bright light. Direct sunlight can burn the delicate leaves. Insufficient light can lead to loss of variegation.
Watering: Water moderately. It is important to let the top layer of soil dry out between waterings. Excess water is harmful and can cause root rot and leaf drop.
Humidity: Prefers a high humidity environment, but adapts well to normal indoor conditions. Periodic spraying of the leaves can be beneficial.
Temperature: It feels best at typical indoor temperatures, between 18-24°C. It is sensitive to cold drafts and sudden changes in temperature.
Fertilization: Fertilize during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced fertilizer for indoor plants, applied once a month.
Soil: Requires well-drained soil.
