Ficus lyrata, known as the fiddle-leaf fig or false fig, is an indoor plant that grows over 15 meters tall in its natural habitat and up to 3 meters indoors.
Ficus lyrata, native to West Africa, is grown indoors for its attractive semi-lobed, oval-shaped leaves that appear in various sizes. The plant’s name comes from the shape of its leaves, which resemble a violin.
Care instructions:
Placement: a bright or partially shaded area. Avoid direct sunlight.
Temperature: 15 - 24 degrees Celsius. Avoid temperatures below 12 degrees Celsius.
Watering: water when the soil is dry.
