Euphorbia xylophylloides (Milk bush)
Euphorbia xylophylloides - a succulent plant from the spurge family, native to Madagascar, is commonly known as the Milk Bush. It has an unusual, uneven growth and is distinguished by the absence of leaves, having only branches. The plant's body consists of green, flat stems, like ribbons, which grow both upwards and sideways. These branches usually form a crowned shrub, but sometimes they can develop into a stately tree. Thus, under indoor care, Euphorbia xylophylloides can reach up to 5 meters in height, while in its natural habitat it can grow up to 20 meters tall. From late spring to early summer, the plant blooms, producing yellow, hairy flowers. It shows some frost resistance and grows quickly. For optimal growth, it needs strong light. It is considered a fast-growing plant.
