Eucalipt - Eucalyptus websteriana (Heart Leaf)
Eucalyptus websteriana is a small, compact tree native to Western Australia. It grows up to a height of 4-5 meters (under ideal conditions) and has a rounded crown. The bark is reddish-brown and peeling. The leaves are heart-shaped, hence the name Heart Leaf Eucalyptus, and are dark green in color. The flowers are pale yellow, with leaf-shaped petals. The fruits are hemispherical, green at first and yellow when ripe.
Eucalyptus websteriana is a valuable ornamental species, prized for its delicate flowers and dark green leaves. It is drought and heat resistant and can be grown in gardens, parks, and green spaces.
Eucalyptus websteriana is a rare species, naturally found only in a few areas of Western Australia. It is vulnerable to forest fires but is protected by law in Australia.
It does not require special soil and is resistant to diseases and pests, being naturally considered "pest free". It withstands temperatures down to -20 °C without needing winter protection.
Height including pot: approx. 40 cm (varies depending on the season)
In the warm season, these plants may arrive with damaged foliage (tips/dry leaves) – this is due to transport and represents only an aesthetic flaw.
Recommendation: We recommend planting the eucalyptus in the garden or in large pots placed outdoors during the summer. It is an outdoor plant and does not fare well long-term in small pots. Do not expose the plant to strong sunlight before planting.
