Diospyros Kaki 'Vaniglia', commonly known as "vanilla kaki," is a variety valued for its sweet and fragrant fruits, with a slight hint of vanilla. The fruits are medium-sized, weighing up to 250 grams, with a very appealing orange color, creamy flesh, and fine texture when fully ripe, without any astringency.

It is a small to medium-sized fruit tree with moderate growth, preferring sunny locations and well-drained soils. It withstands drought well and is relatively easy to care for. The fruits can be eaten fresh or used in desserts. It is an excellent choice for gardens or orchards due to its tasty, vitamin-rich fruits, as well as being quite decorative.
