Care tips:

Light :

• Prefers strong indirect light.
• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, especially during hot days, to prevent burns on the leaves.

Temperature :

• It develops optimally in cool conditions, between 10°C and 15°C.
• It does not tolerate high temperatures or frost.
• Placing it in well-ventilated and cool spaces prolongs its flowering period.

Watering :

• Keep the soil slightly moist, but avoid excessive watering that can cause root rot.
• Water the plant at the base, avoiding direct wetting of the tuber and leaves.
• In winter, reduce watering, but do not let the soil dry out completely.

Soil :

• Preferably a well-drained soil, rich in nutrients.
• Use a houseplant mix combined with sand or perlite to improve drainage.

Humidity :

• It prefers an environment with moderate humidity.
• If the air is too dry, you can place a bowl of water nearby, but avoid wetting the plant directly.

Fertilization :

• Apply a weak liquid fertilizer for flowering plants every 2-3 weeks during the growth and flowering period (autumn and winter).
• Do not fertilize during the vegetative rest period.

Vegetative dormancy :

• After flowering, the plant goes dormant (usually in spring).
