Cordyline australis 'Variegated' is a spectacular architectural plant with an elegant upright habit and long, sword-shaped leaves, variegated in shades of green and cream , sometimes with pinkish tinges on the edges. Also known as "New Zealand dracaena" , this cultivar is ideal for creating points of visual interest in modern gardens, on terraces or in large pots.
As the plant matures, it can form a slender trunk, and the foliage transforms into a decorative crown, reminiscent of a palm tree. It is hardy, easy to maintain and drought tolerant, preferring sunny exposure.
