Clematis with abundant flowering - Clematis 'Justa' (Viticella Group)

Clematis 'Justa' is a compact and vigorous variety of clematis, ideal for small spaces or container growing. This deciduous climber reaches a height of up to 1.5 metres and produces an abundance of pale lavender-blue flowers, approximately 8-10 cm in diameter. The flowers have a light mauve shade on each tepal and prominent creamy-yellow stamens. The flowering period extends from mid-summer to early autumn.
Classification: Viticella Group
Clematis viticella, also known as Italian clematis, is a vigorous and hardy climbing clematis. Its flowers are usually medium-sized, in various shades of purple, blue, pink or red and appear from July to September. Cultivars of this type of clematis are highly valued for their ability to grow quickly and for the abundance of flowers, being ideal for covering fences, pergolas or other structures in the garden. It is relatively easy to care for, preferring sun or partial shade and well-drained soil.
Clematis viticella varieties are known for their very good resistance to both weather and human actions/gardener mistakes. They require minimal intervention - a minimal pruning after the flowering period can provide a boost for much faster re-flowering, usually in the same season.
