Clematis 'Guernsey Cream' - The round flowers, creamy white, show a primrose-yellow stripe when opening. It is especially suitable for shaded areas and will bloom again if you remove the withered flowers.

Growing recommendations:

Large-flowered clematis prefer good quality soil, with high nutrient levels and good moisture, but well drained - they do not tolerate waterlogged soils where water stagnates. It is recommended to improve the soil with manure or compost at planting, if possible. In the case of growing in drier soils, which tend to dry out quickly, cover the base with a layer of shredded bark (or another type of mulch) to retain soil moisture.

Clematis generally prefer a growing space with good sun exposure.

If your clematis blooms in May-June (late spring), cut off the dead flower heads after they finish to encourage a second bloom in late summer or autumn.

Be prepared to wait a few years until your clematis reaches its best form.

First year = roots, second year = shoots and branching, third year = consistent and proper flowering.

In the cold season, the plants appear as leafless sticks that seem dry - this is perfectly normal and the plants are fully viable.
