Clematis 'Corinne' - spectacular star-shaped flowers, pale pink, with a delicate pink shade at the base of the petal, highlighted by a crown of intensely pink stamens. It is a compact climbing plant, with abundant flowering, perfect for growing even in small spaces or pots. The flowers range in size from 10 to 15 cm.

Classification: Late Large-flowered Group

Growing recommendations:

This type of clematis prefers good quality soil, rich in nutrients, moist but well-drained. It is recommended to improve the soil at planting time with manure or compost, as much as possible. In the case of cultivation in drier soils, which tend to dry out quickly, cover the base with a layer of shredded bark (or another type of mulch) to retain soil moisture.

Clematis generally prefers a growing space with good sun exposure.

It is not necessary to remove the withered flowers of these clematis, but if they seem to have finished blooming earlier than expected, a light pruning can encourage new growth and a second flowering late in autumn.

In the cold season, the plants appear as leafless sticks that seem dry – this appearance is perfectly normal and the plants are fully viable.
