Thymus x citriodorus 'Lemon' (also known as Lemon Thyme, Lemon-scented Thyme) is a highly appreciated aromatic perennial plant, valued both for culinary and ornamental use.
It is a dwarf shrub, evergreen or semi-evergreen, with low and compact growth (15-30 cm tall, 30-45 cm wide). It forms dense and uniform bushes, perfect for borders, rock gardens, or pots.
The leaves are small, oval, shiny green, with a strong and pleasant lemon scent when crushed. Flowers appear in summer (June-August), small, pale pink or lilac, in dense and very decorative spikes. It strongly attracts bees and butterflies.
