Begonia Maculata, native to Brazil, is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular begonias. The underside of the leaves is a deep red, while the top side is olive green with silver spots.
During the flowering season (spring - autumn), Begonia maculata produces white flowers in a cluster on a single stem.
Light: Begonia needs a bright area, but away from strong afternoon sun.
Temperature: 18-22 °C, with humidity above 50%.
Water: Water moderately, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings. Do not overwater as the Begonia family is particularly susceptible to root rot.
Fertilizer: Recommended 2 or 3 times a month with a balanced plant fertilizer.
Substrate: The best soil is a mix of sand, clay, and loam.
Height including pot approx. 12 cm

Note: The foliage may show obvious aesthetic defects after transport, including spotted, bent, partially torn, burnt edges, dry patches, or damage from rubbing and handling. These aspects are considered normal for this category of plants and do not affect the specimen's viability if the plant has a healthy base and an active growth point.
