Begonia kingiana is a rare and ornamental species of the Begoniaceae family, native to the tropical regions of Southeast Asia. It is a plant particularly prized by collectors for its spectacular foliage , tropical appearance and unique texture. Although it flowers, its ornamental value lies mainly in its attractive leaves and not in its flowers.

Humidity: Likes high ambient humidity, but without direct spraying of the leaves

Substrate: Aerated, light, with peat and perlite or mix for begonias

Does not tolerate cold drafts

It can be fertilized moderately in the warm season (spring-summer) with liquid fertilizer for foliage plants.
