Begonia Amphioxus
Begonia Amphioxus is a begonia species valued for its unique leaves, which are usually elongated and feature a beautiful pattern in shades of green and red-purple. This plant originates from the tropical regions of Asia, especially Malaysia and Indonesia.
Its leaves are very decorative, with an almost shiny appearance and a velvety texture. It typically grows best in high humidity conditions and with good indirect lighting. Being a tropical plant, it prefers higher temperatures and does not tolerate frost.
Caring for Begonia Amphioxus requires well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Watering should be done carefully, avoiding overwatering. At the same time, the plant needs atmospheric humidity, so a water spray can be useful.
Note: Begonia leaves are sensitive to transport, so some specimens may have leaves with defects.
