Anthurium, also known as the flamingo flower, is a very decorative plant, both through its flowers and its leaves. It grows and blooms faster in brightly lit rooms. It should not be placed in direct sunlight. Strong sunlight causes burns on the leaves. If kept on a windowsill, it can also adapt to less brightly lit rooms.
Exotic, with spectacular flowers and shiny, dark green leaves, anthurium, like the hospitality it represents, is an extremely hardy plant.
If anthurium receives enough light, it can bloom all year round. Additionally, this plant is especially effective at removing harmful chemical substances such as ammonia and formaldehyde.
