Vaccinium corymbosum 'Spartan' is an excellent early season blueberry variety. Starting in July, it produces a large quantity of delicious fruit.
'Spartan' is partially self-fertile, but for best results, plant alongside 1 or 2 other blueberry varieties.

From a commercial point of view, the Spartan Blueberry is considered one of the top varieties.
