Kiwi - Actinidia deliciosa 'Jenny' - self-fertile variety, with very good frost resistance and medium-sized fruit.
Frost resistance: up to -20 degrees, but it is recommended that the plant be protected in the first 2-3 years, until the stem lignifies/mature enough.
Cultivation recommendations: Cultivated on trellises/arches/fences, like a vine. We recommend you to choose an area sheltered from the wind, preferably next to a wall/fence with southern exposure. Kiwi Jenny appreciates heat and direct sun. The first cuts can be made 2 years after planting.
Fruit quality: the fruits are sweet (when fully ripe), slightly acidic, juicy, of medium size. They can be consumed without being cleaned and they keep well for several weeks.
It does not require special soil and is resistant to diseases and pests, being naturally considered "pest free".
