Kiwi - Actinidia deliciosa 'Jenny' (organic cultivation) - frost resistant and self-fertile
Kiwi - Actinidia deliciosa 'Jenny' - a self-fertile variety, with very good frost resistance and medium-sized fruit.
Frost resistance: down to -20 degrees, but it is recommended to protect the plant during the first 2-3 years until the stem becomes woody/mature enough.
Cultivation recommendations: Grown on trellises/arches/fences, like a grapevine. We recommend choosing a wind-sheltered area, preferably near a wall/fence with southern exposure. Kiwi Jenny enjoys warmth and direct sunlight. The first pruning can be done 2 years after planting.
Fruit quality: the fruits are sweet (when fully ripe), slightly tart, juicy, and medium-sized. They can be eaten without peeling and keep well for several weeks.
Does not require special soil and is resistant to diseases and pests, being naturally considered "pest free".
Height including pot: approx. 25-30 cm
Pot diameter: 13 cm
Note: during the cold season, the plants are dormant, pruned back, and sold without leaves.
