Full description and specifications

Brighamia insignis (Hawaiian Palm Tree) is a rare plant, protected in the area where it comes from.
The flowers are yellow and fragrant and appear at the end of summer, which can last for several weeks.
It has the opposite growing season, that is, it grows in the winter and has a rest period in the summer. This is the exact opposite of most plants we know.
Due to stress, the Hawaiian Palm can lose many leaves. The stressful conditions are the transition from winter to summer when it suddenly rains, too much water, but also the transport from the greenhouse, to the store, to your home. The yellowing of the leaves is a kind of self-defense mechanism of the plant. Shortly after losing its leaves, it begins to produce new leaves that are adapted to the new conditions.
Location: in a bright area.
Watering: water approximately once a week, letting the soil dry between waterings. It is like a cactus, with a water tank and therefore, it can survive for six weeks without water.
Temperature: the optimum is between 18-25 ° C. Occasionally, it can tolerate very low temperatures, but not frost.
Pot diameter 12 cm
Height with pots included: approx. 25-50 cm

The decorative ceramic bowl is not included in the price.

Note: This variety is sensitive and may lose its foliage after or during transport. It is a normal phenomenon, and the plant resumes growth after it stabilizes.
