Phaius Tankervilleae

Phaius tankervilleae grows in conditions similar to Cattleya, abundant but not direct light and low humidity. The suitable substrate is similar to that for cymbidium. Flower stems appear at the beginning of winter.
In areas without frost, this orchid can be grown outside. It is cultivated as a garden plant in southern Florida.
