Phalaenopsis fuscata (fragrant)
Phalaenopsis fuscata orchid, also known as Phalaenopsis Dark, Phalaenopsis denisiana, Polychilos fuscata, is a species from the Phalaenopsis genus, described by Heinrich Gustav Reichenbach in 1874.
Phalaenopsis fuscata originates from Thailand, Borneo, and the Philippines. Usually, it is found at altitudes of 0-457 m, on trees near watercourses in shaded forests.
The flowers are fragrant and waxy, opening one after another over a long period. They are pale yellow in color and usually have brown spots at the base, but sometimes they can be uniformly yellow.
