The gerbera is a remarkable plant due to its vibrantly colored flowers. There are around 40 species, spread from Africa, Madagascar and up to tropical Asia and South America.

Gerbera care instructions
Placement: you increase its flowering period if you place it in a bright but shaded place; can be planted in the garden
Humidity: water when the soil has dried and not with a lot of water
Substrate: neutral peat or a loose mixture
Propagation: spring or autumn, by separating shoots with roots
Characteristics: Gerbera can bloom all year round, with small breaks between when a row of flowers passes until the buds form again. After the first flowering leave the plant in a light rest with a moderate watering. After about 6 weeks, start applying liquid fertilizer once a week, for abundant and long-lasting flowering.
