Opuntia microdasys var. pallida - cactus „urechi de iepure”

Opuntia microdasys var. pallida , also known as the pale yellow "rabbit ears" cactus , is an elegant and graphic variety of the genus Opuntia , native to the arid regions of Mexico. It is distinguished by its flat green blades , arranged in pairs or groups, covered with dense areoles of fine, light straw-yellow glochids , which give it a subtle and luminous ornamental appearance.

This variety is popular for its decorative appearance and ability to easily adapt both indoors and outdoors (in mild climates). Although the glochids can irritate the skin, they are finer than the classic forms and can be avoided by careful handling.

• Soil: substrate for cacti and succulents, with excellent drainage (perlite, sand)

• Fertilization: monthly during the warm period (April–September) with cactus fertilizer
