Full description and specifications

Viburnum opulus 'Roseum', also popularly known as "Snowy Bulgaras", is a highly prized decorative shrub for its spectacular flowers and robust appearance. This variety of Viburnum is distinguished by its large, globular flowers that resemble snowballs, hence its common name. The flowers are initially pale green in color, evolving towards a pure white as they mature, appearing in abundance in late spring or early summer.

The shrub can reach heights of up to 2-3 meters, having a relatively fast growth and a dense, spherical shape. The leaves are dark green, oval to rounded, with serrated edges, and can acquire shades of crimson red in autumn, adding an extra color to the landscape.

Besides its aesthetic value, Viburnum opulus 'Roseum' is also valued for its adaptability to a variety of growing conditions. It is resistant to most types of soil, prefers exposure to partial sun or shade and can tolerate very low temperatures.

This shrub does not produce fruit, unlike other varieties of Viburnum opulus, which makes it ideal for gardens where you want to avoid the risk of self-seeding.
