The garden azalea or Rhododendron, is a shrub, originally from the areas with mild winters of China, India, Europe.
It withstands in the garden, up to temperatures of -21 degrees C.
It grows well in a partially shaded area. The flowers appear at the beginning of spring. The leaves remain evergreen.
It is planted after the risk of frost has passed.

Azalea can be planted from spring to autumn, as long as the ground is not frozen. Planting will be done with a bale (soil on the roots), respecting its growth requirements.
