Substrate for acidophilic plants suitable for plants such as Gardenia, Azaleas, Hydrangea, some ferns , etc.

Specially formulated to maintain a low pH, below 6 . This substrate is composed of a mixture of acidic peat, Mediterranean pine bark, volcanic rock, perlite and sand , which ensures excellent drainage and optimal aeration of the roots. Organic materials help to retain moisture, at the same time preventing excessive accumulation of water, an important aspect for plants sensitive to excessive watering. Also, this mixture ensures good retention of essential nutrients, such as iron, which are more easily absorbed by plants in acidic conditions. The substrate is perfect for stimulating the healthy development of acidophilic plants, favoring vigorous growth and abundant flowering.

Note: Bulk product - packaging is done by our staff and the substrates are always freshly prepared from top quality ingredients. It is not excluded that there may be some volume differences when the substrate is freshly mixed and implicitly loose, when the substrate is compacted, from one material to another, or depending on humidity, but these variations are considered normal.
