Philodendron Paraiso Verde (low variegation)
Philodendron Paraiso Verde is a herbaceous perennial plant in the Araceae family, native to Central and South America. It is a popular houseplant, appreciated for its variegated leaves.
The leaves are oblong, up to 40 cm long and up to 15 cm wide. They are heart-shaped at the base and narrow towards the tip. Young leaves are light green, with white or yellow spots. As they grow, the leaves become darker in color, and the spots become larger.
The stem is long and thin, with nodes at regular intervals. The nodes are where the leaves and aerial roots emerge.
Philodendron Paraiso Verde is a relatively easy plant to care for. It needs indirect light, but can tolerate lower light. It should not be placed in direct sunlight, as the leaves may burn.
The soil should be well-drained. The plant should be watered when the soil is dry to the touch. It should not be overwatered, as this can lead to root rot.
The specimens may also have defective leaves.
