Maranta Leuconeura ‘Gray’ (Silverband)

Maranta Leuconeura ‘Gray’ (Silverband) is a spectacular and rare variety, valued for the unusual pattern of its leaves, where the silver veins elegantly contrast with the gray-green background tones. The velvety leaves, with a satin texture, slightly change shade depending on the light, and the contrast between new and mature leaves adds a special charm to the plant.

This variety, recently discovered and propagated by Dutch growers, retains the characteristic habit of the Maranta genus – it raises its leaves in the evening, like in a prayer, offering a discreet and soothing daily movement display.

🌱 Care:

• Light: prefers bright spaces with indirect light; avoid direct sun exposure.

• Temperature: ideal between 18–27°C; does not tolerate cold or drafts.

• Watering: keep the soil always slightly moist, but without excess; occasional misting keeps the leaves hydrated.

• Humidity: high; ideally above 60%.
