Hoya acuta 'Albomarginata' - flori parfumate
Hoya acuta 'Albomarginata' (Hoya verticillata 'Albomarginata, IML 1625) - a species widespread in Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia, presents itself as a strong plant with vigorous growth. The variegated form of the plant is considered rare and valued by collectors worldwide.
The flowers are white/cream with a yellow-orange center, appearing in clusters of up to 50, have a mildly spicy scent of medium intensity, and last up to a week.
In recent years, the plant's identity has been widely debated, especially after botanists decided to classify as verticillata a number of varieties showing significant morphological differences in the leaves – a matter unclear to most collectors.
Currently, it is sold both as Hoya acuta 'Albomarginata' and as Hoya verticillata 'Albomarginata'. In the past, it was also sold as Hoya IML 1625.
