Tillandsia, also known as aerial plants, air plants or aerophyte plants. Although they are known as "air plants", they need water, nutrients and light to survive.
Air plants are epiphytes, which means that they grow on another host plant, without "stealing" nutrients. Tillandsia use the small vessels located on their leaves, called trichomes, to capture nutrients and moisture from the air or rainwater. The amazing thing about air plants is that they use their roots to anchor themselves to an object, which allows them to grow in various locations naturally.
Terrariums are a way to grow aerial plants in a mini ecosystem. The terrariums are unique creations, hand-made by our team, using only natural decorative elements, special glass vessels and healthy aerial plants.
