Vanilla este o planta cu crestere rapida, epifita sau semi-epifita, cu frunze verzi sau variegate. Lianele ajung la lungimi impresionante, de pana la 60 m si prezinta radacini aeriene ce ajuta planta sa se catere, fixandu-se pe truchiuri de copaci, rocarie sau alte suporturi pe care le intalneste. Pe masura ce planta se dezvolta, lianele se vor ingrosa, astfel incat planta sa isi poata sustine greutatea.

This is truely an exceptional, outstanding little plant end that normally so difficult to fiind. It is not as difficult to make them grow as I initially thought, way easier than many other orchids. When spring arrives and they get the temperature and light they need, they grow very well. This is the secret though : wait until they get used to their new home and then replant them. I did it keeping the sphagnum they are planted in. Use a bigger pot and use the medium sold here. It is absolutely perfect.

They make friends, family and colleagues happy as a small gift. One other thing that made me purchasing them over and over again is thet the team takes a very particular care packing your plant. This is such a delicate litle orchid that it would not forgive a poor shipping job.
