Vulkastrat 2-8 mm

Vulkastrat is a granular material of volcanic origin, used both in the compositions of some substrates and as an alternative substrate in horticulture, especially in hydroponic growing methods. This material is mainly made up of volcanic rocks, such as pumice or lava, which are porous, easy to drain, and have a high capacity to retain water and air.

Vulkastrat is very similar to Vulkaponic. There are some differences between the two regarding appearance and harvesting area, but they also have partially different properties. Vulkastrat contains more zeolites and has greater porosity, which is why it absorbs more water and has superior retention.

Vulkastrat has several advantages over other types of substrates, such as:
