Full description and specifications

Sansevieria 'White Snow' is an elegant variety of Sansevieria, also known as "snake plant" or "mother-in-law's tongue". This plant is appreciated for its distinctive leaves, easy to maintain, and for its ability to add a sophisticated decorative element to any interior space.

The leaves are long, fleshy, vertical and have a sword shape. The color of the leaves is predominantly white, with green edges and stripes, offering a contrasting and elegant appearance.

Sansevieria 'White Snow' can reach heights of 30-60 cm, depending on the conditions of growth and care. Its rigid leaves grow in dense clusters, creating a compact and attractive appearance.

Light: Sansevieria 'White Snow' prefers indirect, bright light, but it can also tolerate low light. Avoid direct exposure to intense sunlight for long periods, as it can cause burns on the leaves.

Soil: I prefer a well-drained, slightly sandy soil. A potting mix for cacti or succulents is ideal for Sansevieria 'White Snow'. It is important that the soil does not retain water.

Watering: The plant must be watered moderately, allowing the soil to dry completely between waterings. Excessive watering can lead to root rot. In winter, watering should be significantly reduced.

Temperature: The plant develops best at temperatures between 18-27°C. Can tolerate lower temperatures, but must be protected from frost (below 10°C)

Humidity : Sansevieria 'White Snow' tolerates dry air well and does not require high humidity. It is a suitable plant for the usual indoor climate.

Fertilization: Fertilize the plant once every 2-3 months during the growth period (spring and summer) with a balanced liquid fertilizer for indoor plants, diluted to half the recommended concentration.

Propagation: The plant is easily propagated by dividing the rhizomes or by leaf cuttings. Cut a leaf and let it dry for a few days, then plant it in well-drained soil.

Common problems: Sansevieria 'White Snow' is resistant to most pests and diseases. However, excessive watering can lead to rotting of the roots and the appearance of mold. Make sure that the soil is well drained and that the plant is not standing in water.
