Rhodohypoxis baurii
Rhodohypoxis baurii is a perennial plant that grows in the form of bushes, with impressive star-shaped flowers, with six petals, in shades of pink or red. Originally from South Africa, it is perfect for summer gardens or as a plant grown in pots. It prefers well-drained, acidic or neutral soils and exposure to direct sunlight. It can be propagated by seeds or division in late autumn.
Cold resistance: up to -9°C.
Planting in areas protected from strong wind/blizzard is recommended. It does not tolerate very wet soil well during the winter. It prefers well-drained substrate or rocky areas.
