Rhododendron ponticum 'Variegatum' XXL (garden)
Rhododendron ponticum variegatum are reliable, evergreen shrubs of variable origin: South China, the Himalayas and even Europe.
Rhododendron ponticum variegatum is cultivated mainly for its spectacular foliage, which is dominated by white color.
The flowers are pale lilac-purple in color and usually appear at the beginning of June. The leaves remain green if the temperatures do not drop drastically.
It is planted at any time of the year, as long as the temperatures are positive.
Temperature: Withstands in the garden, up to temperatures of -23 degrees C.
Location: It grows well in a partially shaded area. It is planted after the risk of frost has passed.
The soil: it must be acidic, rich in humus, moist.
Fertilization is not recommended.

Plants for the garden or terrace are grown in unprotected spaces or with minimal protection (shading nets or anti-hail nets). For this reason, naturally, they cannot have perfect foliage - the leaves can show traces, defects or other damages.
