Pumice stone is used mixed with the soil to increase the water absorption capacity and aeration of the substrate, which gives plants access to water for a longer period of time, ensuring very good drainage.
Pumice (pumice stone) is a natural substrate derived from volcanic rock. It is formed from lava, rich in gas, solidified in water.
Characteristics:
- low density, with high hardness
- natural, non-polluting, inorganic, odorless
- resistance to acid solutions, resistance to corrosion
- ecological product with neutral PH
- Granulation between 4-8mm
- Dry density: 450-550kg/m3
- good absorbent
- high porosity
Note: Bulk product - packaging is done in zip bags by our staff. It is not excluded that there may be some volume differences or a margin of error due to porosity, compaction, moisture or density of the material, but these variations are considered normal.
