Full description and specifications

Philodendron 'Ring of Fire' - variegated form, considered extremely rare. The leaves show impressive variegation.
The plant was originally named 'Henderson's Pride' after the hybridizer Keith Henderson (Asiatica nursery).
Although the hybridizer did not reveal details about the plant's parents, it is assumed that it is Philodendron Tortum (polypodioides) and Philodendron Wendlandii.

This variety has nectar-producing glands on the back of the leaves. The nectar has the role of attracting ants in search of food - thus, the plant gains a supply of chemicals secreted by them, but also takes advantage of the aggressive way in which the ant colonies defend their territory and food source, protecting the philodendron from other harmful insects .
Note: The level of variegation differs from one plant to another, but all specimens show specific variegation . Plants will be chosen randomly.

Height with pots included approx. 20 cm
