Phalaenopsis kunstleri - endemic botanical species from Malaysia and Myanmar. The plant is highly appreciated by collectors due to the unusual, unique aspect of the flowers.
Flowering is sequential - the flowers open one after the other, and the flower stalk continues its development after they pass. Cutting the flower stem is not recommended - it can bloom for years in a row.
Flower size: approx. 4 cm
Fragrant flowers: only some specimens are fragrant. The fragrance could be influenced by the growing conditions.
